At this stage, we are only able to perform ultrasound examinations, and related services, within the practice.

Yes! I have my own high-quality portable ultrasound machine which will be brought to each clinic. With higher quality images being produced, the best information can be obtained from the scan.

If you would like to learn more from your own practices machine, then please contact us to arrange in-house CPD.

Please do not hesitate to send us an email, text or call us to request a copy of our fees. Here you will find the cost per ultrasound scan, mileage costs and any additional charges for additional procedures.

We understand that emergencies and urgent cases do occur. We will endeavour to see any extra cases you might have, but this may not be guaranteed. As such, please let us know if you have any extra cases for us as soon as possible.

Generally, I will not be available over weekends or bank holidays. But, if your request is an emergency, then please call us

Sedation will not be required in all cases. As patient welfare is our top priority, sedation may be required in nervous or panting animals. Due to the possible stress associated with abdominal clipping and physical contact, most cats are likely to require sedation. Where possible, please clip the patient before my arrival and apply an initial layer of ultrasound gel. Please also have an IV catheter placed, if appropriate, and have your practice sedation protocol prepared in case sedation is needed. Please note, general anaesthesia may required for some animals and procedures.

Yes, where possible.
Generally, abdominal ultrasound examinations will require 12 hour starvation period. Where the patient is not suitable for starving, then please follow the practice protocol or contact us for further guidance.

Yes. Please advise owners that fur clipping will occur. Usually a particularly large area will need to be shaved – so please prepare the owner for this.
